Types of Gifts

Atrium Medical Center Foundation, formerly Mid-Miami Healthcare Foundation, offers you many ways to help improve healthcare in Southwest Ohio.

Gifts of cash and pledges are always welcome and deeply appreciated. For your convenience, we accept credit cards.

Planned giving is another way to leave a legacy, ensuring that future generations benefit from your gift. Donors who include the Foundation in their wills or estate plans become members of the Heritage Society.

Annual Campaigns

Each year, Atrium Medical Center Foundation assesses the most pressing health care needs in our Southwest Ohio communities. The Foundation selects one as the focus of our annual campaign

Past annual campaigns have raised more than $1.5 million for projects such as establishing an outpatient dialysis center, a diabetes wellness center, and the Miriam G. Knoll Heart Failure Center. Foundation funds have also helped expand care at Atrium Maternal Health Clinic and the region’s only Level III Trauma Center.

The Advancing Care for a Healthier Community capital campaign (2005-2008) raised more than $5.1 million to create the Heart Center at Atrium Medical Center and fund a walking trail and other enhancements at the Atrium Medical Center campus in Middletown.

Major Gifts and Beacon Society

Donors who give $5,000 or more during their lifetime become members of the Beacon Society. They also have their names permanently inscribed on a beautiful glass chime in the donor recognition feature at Atrium Medical Center and receive invitations to exclusive events and educational programs.

Naming Opportunities

Significant gifts to the Foundation often come with naming opportunities that give special recognition and valuable benefits to donors.

The Mary Lou & Walter H. Roehll, Jr., MD, Cardiac Family Room, the Wilbur and Mary Jean Cohen Women’s Center, and the Ann and Arthur W. Bidwell Surgery Center are just a few examples of facilities that provide much-needed services made possible by donor generosity.

Memorial and Tribute Gifts

Gifts in honor or memory of friends or loved ones are a fitting way to pay tribute and to make a difference for our communities. Consider a gift:

  • In memory of a loved one
  • To express gratitude for quality care or to honor a dedicated hospital staff member
  • To celebrate the life of someone close to you
  • To mark a special occasion such as an anniversary, birthday or holiday
