Funding Priorities
To advance our mission of building healthier communities in Southwest Ohio, Atrium Medical Center Foundation first identifies pressing healthcare needs in the region that the hospital can help to meet. Then, we focus our fundraising efforts on these priorities to make the most effective use of dollars, volunteers and staff time. Of course, donors always have the option of directing how their gifts will be used, regardless of the current campaigns.
Since our founding in 1984, the Foundation has invested more than $25 million in Southwest Ohio communities, including more than $1 million last year. Thanks to the generosity of thousands of caring donors, funds raised have helped to:
- Fund nurse navigators to make health care easier for patients
- Enhance behavioral health services
- Open a Senior Emergency Center at Atrium
- Put a mobile mammography coach on the road
- Purchase a da Vinci® robotic surgical system
- Open a new Heart Center
- Advanced care for patients with stroke
- Enhance cancer care
- Improve care for women and children
- And more
