Every Woman, Everywhere
Has Breast Cancer Struck Someone You Love?
Fight Back! Give Now to Put a Mammography Vehicle on the Road
How many women do you know who have bravely battled breast cancer? How many husbands, daughters, sons, sisters, brothers, friends and coworkers can you name who have shared the burden of their loved one’s fight? Perhaps this devastating disease has even touched your own life.
Here in southwest Ohio, women rely on Atrium Medical Center for mammograms and other tests that could potentially save their lives. The earlier breast cancer is detected, the more treatable it is. That’s good news – unless you’re among the 40 percent of women age 40 and older in our region who don’t get an annual mammogram.
Not enough time, too far to go, can’t take off from work – well-meaning, busy women all have their reasons. To help remove those barriers, Atrium Medical Center plans to make mammography more accessible and convenient. With your help, Atrium will put a mammography unit on the road, taking this essential screening right to where women are: community events, schools, churches, health fairs, employers and other locations close to home. No other health system in Greater Dayton and surrounding counties offers women the convenience of mobile mammography.
Your gift will honor your mother — and other women you cherish — and ensure that every woman, everywhere in southwest Ohio gets the care she needs. We’ll even send a card to let your honoree know of your thoughtfulness.
Give now. Let’s beat breast cancer — together.
